I founded Stoney Oak Fence in November 2022 to provide professional fence installation services across Northwest Wisconsin.
I hold a Wisconsin Dwelling Contractor License (#032300308) and am a Qualified Contractor (#4087). These credentials allow me to legally pull permits and operate as a general contractor. When a city or township requires a fence permit, I handle the application and compliance process.
I am also the only American Fence Association (AFA) member in Northwest Wisconsin. The AFA promotes professional installation standards and safety practices within the fencing industry.
As owner, I am present on every job site to oversee installation quality and ensure every fence meets licensed contractor standards.

Derek is part of the installation crew and assists with fence layout, post setting, material handling, and site preparation. He works directly on our residential fence builds, supporting structural installation and ensuring every fence meets the project specifications.

Autumn supports internal coordination, customer communication, and project scheduling. She assists with administrative processes that help projects move smoothly. If you have a question she’ll be happy to help.

Stoney Oak Fence was founded in November 2022 in Colfax. From the beginning, the goal was to build a fencing company rooted in professionalism, accountability, and long-term craftsmanship, not rushed installs or high-pressure sales tactics.
We are a locally owned and operated fence contractor serving Northwest Wisconsin, including Eau Claire, Menomonie, Altoona, and Chippewa Falls. Our focus is primarily residential fence installation, including vinyl, wood, ornamental aluminum, chain link, and ranch fencing.
Our team is intentionally close-knit. We operate with one dedicated crew to maintain consistent quality and communication on every project. We personally oversee each installation to meet state code requirements and local permit standards.
We use American-made materials and methods designed for Midwest conditions: freeze-thaw cycles, shifting soil, and strong seasonal winds. From drive post installation to reinforced gate systems, our work is structured for durability.
